CHAN 2014 SEMI-FINAL: END OF THE ROAD FOR NIGERIA
It was a tension-soaked moment. Nigeria has bowed out of the CHAN 2014 competition. They lost out to Ghana at the Semi final stage. Both team couldn't produce a goal after 120 mins and had to resort to penalty shoot-outs. Ghana slipped all their shots in successfull , Ejike Uzoenyi, the most significant player in the team made a good account of himself before the goal-keeper, other Nigerian players' shots travelled in different directions. (Pardon my writing style, I'm a little bit distraught.)
Up Nigeria! You remain a winner to us! Congratulations Ghana!!!
THROWBACK PHOTO: PETE EDOCHIE
So Pete Edochie’s signature beard has come a long way! Really interesting!!! They grew thicker and denser with age. The story of the Nigerian movie industry would be incomplete without ample space given to veterans like him. I miss the stern-looking actor, his strong, powerful voice, the way his eyes twitch before he breaks into adages/proverbs.
HILARIOUS! CHINESE STUDENTS SHOW US A WONDERFUL STUDYING TECHNIQUE
Do you find yourself sleeping off few minutes after you open a book? This Chinese students' studying technique is just the best option you've been waiting for. If you're a lady, fix a brazilian hair or one of those long hair brands, if you're a guy, do the same, get a wig or scarf.lol
To stop themselves from nodding off while studying, these Chinese university students resorted to tying up their hair with cloth pegs , so anytime they try to nod off, the pegs would pull their hair.
The technique was carried out by two students, Chen and Huang, who were determined to succeed but had problems staying awake.
"Chen is so keen to succeed that she decided to give the hair trick a try, as you can see her hair is more than long enough. As we didn't have a beam in our dorm, she used the clothes dryer and claims it worked really well. The preparation is boring, but the hanging hair practice makes it interesting and I really feel much more energetic by studying this way". Huang explained.

NOLLYWOOD'S MOST DISCIPLINED ACTRESS RELEASES 2014 CALENDAR PHOTOS
Chika Ike; the recently-crowned most disciplined actress in Nollywood (that award still amuses me) loves to be in the news, well, mostly for the right reasons. The UN ambassador has just released her official calendar with 12 different, gorgeous photos representing each month of the year. July, August and November photos are my favourite.
PHOTOS: JAYWON REMEMBERS GOLDIE IN NEW VIDEO
Award-winning Kennis Music act, Jaywon has shot the video of 'Remembered'; a tribute song dedicated to the late singer and former BBA housemate, Susan 'Goldie' Harvey. The video according to sources will by released on Valentines' Day; exactly a year the bubbly singer passed away.
"I miss everything about her. She was the only one I could confide in she was my friend, big sister and had a very good heart, ever since she passed on I haven't found anyone to confide in and I don't know if I will ever find any". The Madantin star told HipHopWorld Magazine.
Also featured in the video are self-acclaimed Comedian of the Federal Republic (CFR), Gbenga Adeyinka, YQ, Jybo, Joel to mention a few. You would recall that the Goldie breathed her last shortly after she returned from the Grammy Awards event in the US.
An autopsy report carried out shortly after revealed that she suffered a terminal hypertensive heart disease.
May her soul find repose. Amen!
