46 year-old Indian and head of Microsoft’s cloud computing division and enterprise business, Satya Nadella has been appointed CEO as Bill Gates steps down as Chairman of the US-based giant computer company. Nadella who joined the company in 1992 becomes the third CEO after Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer since the company was founded 39 years ago.
A statement by Bill Gates reads thus, “During this time of transformation, there is no better person to lead Microsoft than Satya Nadella. Satya is a proven leader with hardcore engineering skills, business vision and the ability to bring people together. His vision for how technology will be used and experienced around the world is exactly what Microsoft needs as the company enters its next chapter of expanded product innovation and growth.”

I’ll have over a third of my time available to meet with product groups, and it’ll be fun to define this next round of products working together.” Gates added.

RITA DOMINIC STUNS ON GENEVIEVE MAGAZINE'S FEBRUARY ISSUE

Laying pretty on the February and 11th anniversary cover issue of Genevieve magazine is Nollywood’s most fashionable actress, Rita Nwaturuocha Dominic. I love the ‘The Meeting’ star’s nude look (I think more people are embracing nude makeup now which is excellent) and the dress. It gives the cover which also has a tinge of red a sweet look. The publishers probably had Valentine in mind.

"RONALDO SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE WHAT HE DID"- XABI ALONSO

Ronaldo’s red card saga during Real Madrid’s game against Athletic Bilbao yesterday evening is far from being over. Infact, it’s one of the most talked about football stories this week. Of course, it’s the current Ballon d’Or award recipient we are talking about here. Speaking to reporters about the incident; Xabi Alonso, Real midfielder said although the referee’s decision was uncalled for, the Portuguese should have controlled his temper.
Cristiano shouldn’t have done what he did but it was not a sending-off. It was not aggression, Cristiano’s red was exaggerated, Gurpegui made the most of it. The crowd influenced the referee throughout the match. This always happens, it’s nothing new.”
Ronaldo has now received 8 red cards in his career. 4 red cards while playing for Man United, 4 while playing for Real Madrid and none for Portugal. Meanwhile, The Spanish Football Discipline Committee will meet on Wednesday morning to decide whether he is to be punished.
