Arsene Wenger replies Jose Mourinho's snide comment

The last has certainly not been heard of the war of words between Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho and Arsenal coach, Arsene Wenger. Here’s the 64 year-old’s reply to Mourinho’s “Failure Specialist’ comment which trended on friday.
“I won’t comment on silly disrespectful remarks, I never spoke about him in my press conferences and I won’t start. It’s more embarrassing for Chelsea than for me.’

Super Eagles' get unique jersey for 2014 World Cup. Take a look!

Super Eagles get a totally unique jersey for the 2014 World Cup tournament. The jersey is a departure from the regular green jersey to an exciting, bold, striking and iconic kit. Designed by sports wear giant, Addidas, the kit which was unveiled on friday, February 14th, 2014 would be launched against Mexico on March 5 in Atlanta. Another unique design on the kit is the addition of a bridge-like band across the shoulders; the name and number parts are also draped in red.
According to NFF President, Aminu Maigari, “We are very proud to once again partner with adidas to produce a home jersey that reflects youth, spontaneity and freshness. It will not only appeal to the Super Eagles but their fans across the globe. We are delighted with the design as it reflects innovation yet incorporating an element of fun. We are happy though that while the jersey has a new look, it’s green side panels tie the new kit to its’ historic darker green tradition.”

Quote of the day- Pete Edochie

Here’s the veteran actor’s reaction Pastor Chris Okotie’s verdict that all Catholics would go to hell because they don’t believe in Jesus, and that the Pope is an anti-Christ. He made this point during an interview session with a Nigerian Tribune reporter.
“He is entitled to his opinion. He has a right to say whatever he likes and he is using that right. Constitutionally, he is entitled to it. Stupidity is what we all have in common as human beings, but some people insist that improving it is their entitlement. So, you expect Pete Edochie and other Catholics to be angry? No, I won’t. I knew Chris some years back; he was fond of me when he was still in school. When I was still a broadcaster, a Hausa man presented him with a car and he came and showed it to me. He is someone I have always liked and he is entitled to his views. When people condemn T. B. Joshua and say he is using devilish powers, I tell them, ‘Go and use devilish powers and do what he is doing too.’ I don’t believe in running people down because you can’t reach their gifts and depriving others of their hard-earned credit.

Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho has been trending for the past 24 hours for “reasons best known to us”; the ‘failure specialist’ jibe at Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger lingers on, anyways that’s not why we are here. Last night, the Portuguese attended the official UK unveiling of the The Jaguar F-Type Coupe car at the Canary Wharf, London and known or unknown to many,  as  a Jaguar ambassador, he is privileged to be the first person in Britain to get the ride which is valued at £85,000.
When asked what he thought of the toy, Mourinho replied, “It drives like a great player because it does what I want it to do. I made my players a bit jealous because I took the car to the training ground. It was a good feeling. I love to drive it.”

Say What? Jose Mourinho brands Arsene Wenger a Specialist in failure. Fans react

Trust me, this is one of the deepest insults I’ve heard in football and in recent times. But it didn’t start from Mourinho, a particular comment from the Arsenal Manager triggered the Chelsea’s boss’ lethal response. Arsene Wenger earlier on (on Friday morning) declared that the title is Chelsea’s to lose, adding that anyone who claims their team are not in the race does so out of fear of failure.
So Mourinho who we all know is not ‘really good with words’ replied him thus. “He is a specialist in failure. I’m not, If supposedly he is right and I’m afraid to fail, it’s because I haven’t failed many times. Maybe he’s right. Maybe I’m not used to failing. The reality is he is a specialist. Eight years without a piece of silverware, that’s failure. If I do that at Chelsea, eight years, I leave London and I don’t come back.”
FANS’ REACTIONS

Dear Jose, just go to hell “@itvfootball: Arsenal fans, what do you make of Jose Mourinho calling Arsene Wenger “a specialist in failure”
@PiersMorgan: “Wenger was right too, Mourinho does fear failure. That’s why he’s won 12 trophies since Wenger last won one.”

@TheAmazinGooner: Mourinho’s tactics work well only with money in the bank. Give Wenger a team similar to Chelsea’s and he’ll win the Champions League.

@PartRhymer: As much as I admire #Mourinho, his recent interview targeting #Wenger is an utmost example of why a major population hates him to the core!
@mickgordon19 @itvfootball Sacked twice in 6 years = Failure
@Ahmed91Gooner: Mourinho is a cheque book coach. Arséne builds philosophies and makes footballers. One failed with unlimited funds at Real, other is wanted.

@PoznanInMyPants: Mourinho…so classy he’s working for Abramovich a 2nd time. In between he eye-gouged a cancer survivor. While Wenger fights the good fight.
@OneInvincibles: “Arsene stayed at Arsenal to build something bigger than his ego” Hello Mourinho!

@max_zammon5h
@101greatgoals Lets see Mourinho stick with building success for longer than five minutes.

@Paul_Lake: So disappointed with Mourinho’s comments today. Nothing wrong with mind games, but no need for such blatant disrespect #TheSpitefulOne
@RonnieLugonja3h
@101greatgoals @chelseafc @Arsenal @piersmorgan Joze disrespectful,lack of class. No surprising Thout age brought humility, was wrong!!!

@kristianrover1@itvfootball he’s an ignorant fool!
@AAllenSport Mourinho is a successful manager, he’s also a horrible, classless little twerp. We’ve known this for a decade now. Carry on.

@itvfootball its the only way he gets some acknowledgement, having a 500mil team and not winning is a failure…. #bitscaredMourinho
