Fan cleans stadium seats after club re-signs his favourite player.

Be careful what you wish for. Lol! Craig Delew, a fan of Leyton Orient FC, (not an English Premier League club) promised via a tweet to clean all the seats in the club’s stadium if the management re-signs his favourite player, goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic. And you know what? The club did bring the goal-keeper from loan.
Craig, being a man of his words, cleaned up all the seats in the 2,600-capacity stand. After that (probably) strenous exercise, he got a VIP treatment from the club and even tweeted a picture of him and Edwin.
Matt Porter, the club’s Chief Executive joked, “Like all good clubs, we decide our transfer policy based on what our fans tweet.”

EME first lady, Niyola survives car crash

Singer and writer, Eniola Akinbo, fondly called Niyola survived a car accident, yesterday in Lagos. The ‘Toh bad’ crooner in company of her friends, (she was actually the one driving) were on their way to the Mainland after a meeting at Lekki, when she got to Oworonsoki axis, a vehicle hit her Honda CRV from the back. Her car reportedly tumbled three times before hitting a tree. She and other occupants were later rushed to the hospital.
‘Yes, it’s true. But she’s okay. It’s
unbelievable that they survived”. An EME rep confirmed. She later posted some tweets on life.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic denies "Premier League" interview

Ok, that was pretty fast. Just wondering where The Mirror got those paragraphs from? The phenomenal striker has however denied taking part in the interview where he was quoted as saying he would have destroyed the Premier League if he had played there.

Considering his sensational form, his recent hat-trick against Toulouse and his 22 league goals this season, ingenious PSG striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic should be allowed to blow his trumpet a little please! Speaking recently to The Mirror, the Swedish footballer stated that he would have had a smashing success if he played in England.
“If I had played there, I would have destroyed it, like I have everywhere else,” . The 32 year-old former Barcelona player also taunted those who lashed at him for turning down a club in England (Arsenal) and joining Ajax when he was 16.
“Arsenal could have happened, as everybody knows — but I would not do a trial. Who do you think regrets that more, Arsene Wenger or Zlatan? The last time I faced England, which is supposed to be the best players in the Premier
League, what happened? Maybe people
need to be reminded that it was the Zlatan show.”

The boisterous city of Lagos was shutdown yesterday February 22nd February 22nd, 2014 for Dapo Lam-Adesina, Oyo State Commissioner for Industries, Science and Technology as he walked his long time heartthrob, Oluwatosin Osewa down the aisle. As reported earlier, a colourful traditional wedding took place on friday, February 21, 2014 at the Etal hotel, Oregun, Lagosamidst fanfare and class.

The white wedding took place at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, a grand reception at Yard 158, Ikeja followed after. Anchored by self-acclaimed Comedian of the Federal Republic (CFR), Gbenga Adeyinka; top political juggernauts at the event include former Governor of Ogun state and All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Chief Olusegun Osoba who was also the chairman of the occasion, incumbent Governor of Oyo State, Governor Ajimobi and wife, Florence Ajimobi, Otunba Adebayo, Senator Omoworare to mention a few.

Lionel Messi film: Meet the cool kid playing his role.

I’ve seen Lionel Messi’s childhood pictures and I can “boldly declare” that this kid bears a striking resemblance to the Barcelona forward. Filming on the Argentine’s life story has already started and the movie is expected to hit the cinemas before the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Produced by Spanish director Alex de la Iglesia, the film which centres on the life story of the 4-time Ballon d’Or winner is also an adaptation of Italian writer, Luca Caioli’s book titled, ” Messi: The Inside Story of the Boy Who Became a
Legend“.
