Yaya Toure on Jose Mourinho. "He talks more than before"
I really don’t know the correlation between his team’s recent defeat at the UEFA Champions League and Jose Mourinho’s input. Manchester City midfielder, who insisted the game would have favoured them if a “good referee had officiated” has slammed Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho for always talking about everyone. (coaches, players and teams I guess)
According to Marca, the three time CAF award-winner said, “I think he talks more than before, perhaps because the English press likes it. He is a coach and he must give respect a little bit. He is always talking about everyone and that is not the correct way. That is why Barcelona always beat Madrid when Mourinho was here in Spain.”
Short Story: Helpless | By: Oluwafunminiyi Omojola
She sat on the edge of the bed and watched him snore. He had had a long journey back home from America where he lived with his wife of two years. She had not seen him in the last fifteen years, not since they left high school and he had left with his mother. She did not even attend his wedding; she had been too mad, too sad.
She looked at him and smiled. He hadn’t changed much; and as she packed her hair into the wispy bun that he favored, the one that made her feel ten and innocent all over again, she thought how funny a little thing like a hairstyle could help wipe away a truck load of guilt, even if only for a while. She listened to the hum of his snore, and images from minutes ago flashed through her mind once again.
She could not explain what had happened. She did not even want to try. It had felt oddly exciting being alone with him after so many years, and when he had asked her to hug him, she had been too scared to, too afraid they might travel back fifteen years in time with just that simple gesture. Yet when minutes later, she had found herself allowing him drown himself in the pools of pleasure which she unquestioningly opened up to him, her fears had been eternally confirmed by the intensity of their passion.
“Why are you shy? Look at me joo,” he had joked afterwards, trying to make her face him. She wanted to tell him to stop, and allow her develop the confusing blueprints flying about in her head, but she did not say anything. Instead, she stuck to the bed sheets and refused to be drawn away. And after he had curled up to her and whispered to her how she had been sweeter than he remembered, and a hundred times more passionate than the cold fish that their father had made him marry in the name of cementing a ‘lifelong family friendship’ and retaining his pride of place as the ‘scion of the dynasty’, (a termed he scoffed at only in theory), he had dozed off; and she had jumped out of the bed, picked up her clothes, locked herself in the sanctuary of the bathroom and cried her soul out.
And this was how she emerged: decided, stronger, and more confident.
As wrong as he was for her, as much as he was her younger brother even if only from the same father, she knew now for certain that she was in love with him still, as much as he had always been with her.
She knew now that she was his apple, that she would never be able to help being devoured in secret until the wells of their passion ran dry – if it ever could.
All she needed to do was afterwards, tie her hair up in the wispy bun he always admired when they were still children – and everything would be just fine again.

Actor Emma Ehumadu sustains head injury on set
Known for his gangster roles (as a matter of fact I’ve never seen him play a romantic role ) Emma Ehumadu needs our prayers at the moment. The
dark-skinned actor collided with a moving vehicle during a robbery scene in Asaba on Wednesday and damaged his skull in the process. He also had a fractured neck and became unconscious .
Totolos as fondly called was immediately rushed to the hospital by Jim Iyke (who was actually driving the car he was in when the accident happened) and Mike Ezuruonye. He’s now at the Intensive Care Unit of an undisclosed hospital in Asaba.
Wishing him speedy recovery.

2014 World Cup: Stephen Keshi clears the air on his choice of players.
Nigeria’s national team coach, Stephen Keshi has cleared the air on his choice of players for the forthcoming 2014 World Cup. Speaking to Vanguard, the former defender who has been criticized for not recalling the likes of Osaze Odewengie and Ike Uche maintained that team spirit and tactical considerations are his criteria for selecting players.
“It is wrong for any coach to shut the door against any player and ban such a player from playing for the National team. But time matters in all things including football. There are times good players may lose form and you allow them time to be fit again and there are times a player may not contribute to the success of a team due to behavioral problems and if you, as a coach, feel that it will be for the best interest of the team to allow such a player time to conform to the acceptable conducts, you do so to help the team.
I’m aware of the comments people have made on some of our players. All good players deserve to be in the national team but there are also team spirit considerations. There are tactical considerations. If you have a concept and a player does not and refuses to conform to that concept what do you do? What I want people to know is that I want to go to Brazil and do well. And I will not leave out any person who I feel will help us do well.
No reasonable coach will do that. If I leave out any player, it simply means that I feel that such a player may not help the general interest of the team in Brazil. It is a serious matter and it will not be nice to trivialize World Cup selection matters. It is a serious matter and I wouldn’t want sentiments to sway us.”
