Mario Balotelli's brother dreams of playing with him

Enoch Balotelli, the 20 year-old brother of AC Milan star, Mario Balotelli has revealed his ambition of joining an English Premiere League team with his brother on board. Enoch Balotelli who has spent most of his career playing for lower leagues in Italy deems the life in England ideal.
“My dream is to be able to play alongside my brother, That’s what I always dream about, only not in Italy but in England. We left our hearts and many friends behind there and it’s a life which, in terms of football, is absolutely ideal for us. Mario’s going his way, and I’m going mine. I’ve never had any favours, otherwise I wouldn’t be here playing in the lower leagues.
If I’d received favours of any kind, I very much doubt I would be playing here, but people are always insulting me for that and my skin colour. I just pretend I don’t hear them and I never react. In footballing terms, I am and I always will be in [Mario’s] shadow. I’ve never had a real opportunity — something which could change my life.”

Meet the 5 winners of the Google Africa Connected Competition

Winners of Google’s Africa Connected competition have been unveiled. They include Sitawa Wafula (Kenya), Esieoghene Odiete (Nigeria), Christopher Panford (Ghana), Eric Obuh (Nigeria) and Eunice Namirembe.  Google in an effort to invest in the future success of all the finalists also surprised the remaining five success stories by awarding them $10,000 each to help grow their ventures and initiatives for greater social and economic impact. Recipients include; Tim McGuire (South Africa), Nqobizitha Mlilo (Zimbabwe), Mayowa Adegbile (Nigeria), Lamine Mbengue (Senegal) and Steve Kyenze (Kenya).
The competition was launched in August 2013, calling entrepreneurs, creatives, innovators and web-lovers to share stories of how the web has transformed their lives and work. The 5 winners were selected from over 2,200 entries from 35 countries, by a panel of judges as well as public voters. The winners will bag $25,000 [ZAR 260,000] each, and will also have the opportunity to work with a Google sponsor over a six-month period to further their online success.
According to Affiong Osuchukwu, Google Lead for the Africa Connected initiative, “There are over 1 billion people living in Sub-Saharan Africa and currently 16% of them are online. With Africa Connected, we wanted to celebrate how the web is changing lives in Africa, and show how it is contributing to the socio-economic development of the continent. Selecting the shortlist was no easy task: each winner shares a unique perspective of how they have used the internet to solve a problem, earn a living, or create opportunities, not just for themselves, but also for others around them.” He continued, “Even though there are only five winners of the contest, there are many more powerful and inspiring stories out there. To start, there are 21 other inspiring success stories already hosted on the Africa Connected website; www.africaconnected.com. We encourage you to watch and learn from them”.

"I gave 10 years of my life and this is how you repay me?" Sophia Chikere replies Tchidi Chikere

It still gets messier! And this looks like an unending drama. Estranged wife of actor/director, Sophia Tchidi Chikere in a statement made to Linda Ikeji has responded to accusations made against him by Tchidi Chikere. Remember her ex husband took to Twitter yesterday to open up on why he walked out on their marriage. Click here to read his previous tweets
Tchidi Chikere, I read all you said about me and I laugh. Is that the best way to justify yourself? It is well. I will not exchange words with you still because there is nothing you say or write about me that will shake me because those that put their trust in God, He never fails them. Why are you lying to people? For them to turn around and clap for you and justify what you did? Is it because people who know the truth are saying it and it’s hurting you and you are now looking for a way to justify yourself.
I give 10 years of my life and this is how you repay me? By disrespecting me and my family? You said I used juju to marry you. If truly I and my family used juju to hold you, let God who sees everything judge me and you. You bring money for the upkeep of your kids and you are writing about it? Like seriously, are they not your kids? Whose responsibility is that? And who is disputing that with you? You said since you married me that I have not given you no love, no affection etc but you forgot the interview you granted to Punch newspaper in 2011 saying that I am the best thing that have happened to you.
You said I never had time for you? When you are always filming in the east and I won’t see you in months. I played the role of father and mother to the kids… and I laughed the more when I saw where you wrote that I didn’t feed you for 5 days.. Is this all in desperation to justify yourself? Wow!! You said marriages are not contracted on the pages of newspaper and granting interviews yet you people have been granting interviews upon interviews since 2012.. Have I said anything against you? But I won’t say anything against you. Keep saying lies about me thinking you can tarnish my image by putting up this childish and immature behavior.
Even if you say that I am a prostitute tomorrow or a thief, people who know the truth know the truth and God knows everything and sees the heart and he will pay everybody back according to our deeds. So am not shaking!! I will never say anything against you to gain favour from people! No you can’t hide pregnancy. I gave you my life for 12 years, gave you 3 lovely boys, gave you a home. And you always say to me then, I was a good wife to you and you know it. I was loyal to you and never cheated on you. I swallowed and stomached so many things just to make my marriage work. I turned deaf ears to so many things and covered my eyes to so many things.
I remember all the stories I heard about your escapades with other women, but did I leave you? I stayed with you because marriage is for better or worse and when you started your affair with Nuella in 2010, what did you say to me when I confronted you? I stayed, endured and prayed every night. Have you forgotten the day I almost committed suicide? The first time you left me and the kids? I wanted to end my life but God saved me. Even as you left us in 2012, I keep saying to people that my marriage is intact and I never changed my name from Sophia Tchidi Chikere till date.
Have you not done enough to me? You are married now and still I wish you and your new wife well. Why can’t you leave me alone to face my children and fill up the vacuum this has created in their lives? You say such evil things against their mother and they are hearing it from their schoolmates. Their schoolmates are taking about it and asking them questions everyday and yet your not satisfied. You claim you kept quiet because of them, yet you have been talking and tarnishing my image since 2012? Yet I kept mute. I have not and will never say anything bad against you. Vengeance is of the Lord, unless he is not on the throne.
You put up my pictures with my friend to use against me? You want to use it to justify what you did to me? What you put me through for years? You said he is my boyfriend that I go to see in London and I ask you Tchidi, when I was with you, did I not go to London 2 or 3 times yearly to buy clothes for my boutique? Everybody knows that I am a business woman and I buy my products from London and America. And so because I have a friend in London, I now go there just to see him? Lol He is my friend, my pal, my buddy and my best friend.
We started being good friends in 2013 after Chidi left me and ended our marriage. He is someone that is very close to me and my confidant. All these years I have had women as best friends and they all betrayed me, and I decided to have a guy as my best friend. We go everywhere together and he assists me in shopping and buying things for my shop etc I can’t deny him. He is my friend. People that know me very well will tell you that I love taking pictures and so we took lots of pictures and the guy posted it on his Facebook page and some people copied it and started posting it online. I have also kept mute about it and I would have still keep mute if not that Tchidi raises it and wanted to use it to tarnish my name.
But is well. My kids read what their daddy wrote about me and they asked me to respond and tell the whole world that you are wonderful mother and that they know and they are seeing everything and won’t say anything till they grow up! So am responding to this because of my three lovely boys that I live for, that am blessed with.
I want to beg Tchidi to please allow me to concentrate and train my kids with God’s grace and help. I wish him the best in his new marriage.I bless his new marriage with his new wife and I wish them well. This will be my last statement. Even if Chidi pulls the mountain to paint me black.. I will not respond again.
Thank you

It gets messier! Tchidi Chikere exposes ex-wife on twitter

There’s more than meets the eye. *sigh*. Newly-married actor/Producer Tchidi Chikere, today took to his official twitter page to set the records straight on his recent marriage to budding actress, Nuella Njubigbo and why he deserted his ex-wife, Sophia and mother of his three boys. I must really say he opened a can of worms. He even posted pictures of Sophia and his alleged boyfriend.
“God knws I ve tried to be mature bout this.God knws I tried to be silent. This is d woman who says she loves her hsbnd. Most terrible wife ever in life..smbody that never gave me a home. Wanted to party freak life. no respct for marriage. All she wanted was to bear my name n still live as she wanted. I ws free to do anytin i wantd as long she hd my name. No love no affection, all had was a roof over my head. now I m saying NO,i m tired I want a real home, a quality life. Read his tweets below. (@ChikereTchidi)
I want to experience love and what it really means to have a home, wht life feels like to be truly married. I begged her for yrs I cried for affection I begd for a bond. she never cared. I could die for all she cared,as long as she remains Tchidi s widow.GOD FORBID. U fight with single girls over men. Nevr hd time for me,nevr hd time for our kids, I m tired of that life,i wnt to live a better life.N she s CRYING WOLF.
You hv a boyfriend(S)u ve been bearing his name,i’m sure he s dumped you coz of ur bad attitude and your coming bk to say you love me?!! In 5000, lives n more to come I do not wish to set meet anybody like Sophia, u re a nightmare. Even when u re lying u CRY. All the Juju you and your family have done to destroy me ddnt work, My God is stronger than u all. That s why u ve come out now to scream.
Sophia dnt push me to talk, this is jst a pinch of salt compared to the real deal. If i talk, people will see you on d streets and stone you. Rmber when I used to cry for food in my own house where I provide for everything?Smtimes up to 5 days? Do you know wht love is? Since when? I told you I d leave,I told you many many years ago.So dnt call nobody s name in this..I ve tried to tk the balme,bt no more. I tried to be d sacrificial lamb while u act the saint cos of my lovely kids, bt smday they ll grow into men nl understand y Daddy hd t talk. U can cook up as many more lies as u wnt, that s ur trade. Just know dt if u push me to talk again, I ll tlk without holding Anything back

And when i talk again, I’ll talk with proof, I only want you to still hv little dignity, that is why I m stopping here. Don’t push me. Did you tell them I pay you every month? Till now? That I look after rmy kids? Bath them? Give them a hair cut each myself? Always? Yet u spread the lies that i ABANDONED my kisds? Do you have a heart at all? U re wicked..All i want is a LIFE! U gave me NONE..!!!!!!!! i was like a stray Dog for years. Now i m saying NO MORE

Did you tell them all the demands you re making in d divorce court? Did you tell them how you spend months in London in ur boyfriends house while d kids stayed with house maids? What I had was a traditional wedding, n it takes two families, two villages. It shows I hv the support of my people and family. Marriages are not contracted on the pages of Newspapers and granting interviews to pose n feel relevant. That’s Lagos talk. Root is Root.
