Brazil 2014: Arjen Robben sets new record.

Asides the fact that his team has not done badly so far, Netherlands winger, Arjen Robben has added another achievement to his list. He is now the world’s fastest footballer. The Bayern Munich talisman achieved the feat in the ongoing World Cup tournament. Kefee's crew member speaks about her last moment.

That people are yet to come to terms with the death of award-winning Gospel singer, Kefee Obareki Don-Momoh is like stating the obvious. One of such is her crew member who was with her the day before she collapsed.
“So sad, this has got to be one of the saddest moments in my life. She was on a flight from Los Angeles to Chicago, but she collapsed and was taken to a hospital in Las Vegas. She died in Vegas but she didn’t die of pregnancy complications.  I was with her the day before she collapsed. She had been in Los Angeles already. She performed at Gospel Faith Mission House of Testimony on Sunday.

The next day, Monday, she was shooting a music video in Hollywood, CA. I was one of her camera guys. She seemed fine that day, and I could see nothing wrong with her at all. She was happy, smiling, dancing, laughing and enjoying herself.

There was a whole crew and we spent the entire day shooting the video. The next day, she was supposed to board a plane to Chicago for what I believe was either another concert or another video shoot, I’m not exactly sure but as she boarded the plane and they took off, she collapsed. The pilots were forced to land the plane in Las Vegas, Nevada and there she was taken to the hospital.

She’s been in a coma ever since and now this. She’s passed and my heart is heavy. I had so much fun shooting her video. And if you could see all the excitement was caused, you would be so happy. It is a sad moment indeed. I just can’t believe this. R.I.P. because you served the Lord well Kefee. R.I.P.”

Nig/Iran clash: "Odemwingie did not follow my instructions"- Keshi

Super Eagles Manager, Stephen Keshi has revealed that Stoke City forward, Osaze Odemwingie who came in during the second half of the game did not follow his instructions during Nigeria’s goalless draw against Iran on Monday and his poor performance also affected the team.

He told BBC World Service, “The Osaze you are talking about didn’t do well. Osaze did not play to instruction and that affected the team. We expected three points from this game but everybody knows the most important game is between ourselves and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Next game I think will be easier and I think that will be the decider of where we will be at this World Cup.”

Have you seen the World Cup's most enduring image?

Photos of the player taking out time to help a boy on crutches tie his shoe laces which had come undone has been tagged the World Cup’s most enduring image by Fox Sports.

" I just decided to change my lifestyle." RMD speaks on his weight loss

Contrary to reports that veteran Nollywood actor turned political appointee, Richard Mofe-Damijo is nursing a life-threatening ailment, the Delta State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism is hale and hearty. Tongues started wagging when he appeared at a recent function looking slim and many quickly concluded that all is not well with his health. RMD as fondly called in a recent interview with Sunday Sun debunked the tales; he disclosed that his new look has nothing to do with ill-health, rather he decided to shed off some weight and live a healthier life.
“I woke up one morning, to be precise May 9th last year, and I weighed 120kg. I said this cannot go on. Neither of my parents crossed 60kg. I thought it would be sinful for me to keep eating and putting on weight and living an unhealthy life. I decided to just change my lifestyle. I didn’t diet, what I’m doing now is not dieting. I hate to use the word diet because when you say you are dieting you have to stop at one point. What I did was to change my lifestyle.
“What I did was to get somebody who knows about food. A lot of people don’t succeed when they diet because they don’t understand food. They diet, they drink a lot of shakes, tablets and all of that and after a month they become bigger than they were. What I did was very simple. It’s all about knowing the kind of food you eat and what it contains. I have a daughter (Onome) from my late wife, who is obsessed with calories, weight gain and weight loss. She was with me all through Christmas and New Year. She’s 26. I love what I do now; I just eat well and exercise.

“I feel lighter, but there are lots of people who feel I am too slim now. It’s about how I feel inside. I’m at my best physically. I have never felt better. I feel lighter, I don’t suffer indigestion. Now I weigh about 97kilos.” He affirmed.
