The world would be surprised if he didn’t make the list. Super Eagles/Lille shot-stopper, Vincent Enyeama has made FIFA’s list of the best goalkeepers in the 2014 World Cup list. Albeit Nigeria has crashed out of the World Cup, there is no denying that the Kaduna-born goal-keeping star made some epic saves in the tournament.

Arisekola Alao's eldest wife dies
Barely a month after popular businessman, Arisekola Alao passed on, his first wife Alhaja Jelilat Arisekola Alao is also no more. The 63 year-old woman died in a ghastly motor accident in Ilorin, Kwara State yesterday. Her remains was committed to mother earth in her Larry Quarters, Apata, Ibadan, residence today.
“With deep sense of loss and sadness, I announce the tragic loss of our mother, Alhaja Jelilat Arisekola Alao,(mummy Abdul) the eldest wife of Late Aare Arisekola Alao who died last night in a ghastly motor accident . She will be buried according to Islamic rites today 2nd of July in ibadan. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen”. Wole Arisekola-Alao wrote on his facebook page.

Contrary to reports that made rounds shortly after Nigeria crashed out of the 2014 World Cup that Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi has resigned, big boss as fondly called has claimed he hasn’t called it quits adding that he was only misquoted.
In an interview with SuperSports, Keshi said, “What I said to my players was that this may be my last match at the helm of affairs in the national team, because my contract terminates with the World Cup and I have not been offered a new one. I was a bit shocked that the global media went to town to say I have called it quits with the national team. Resignations are not done on the pages of newspapers but formally,” he said.
