These are behind-the-scene pictures from Nollywood actor/filmmaker, Yomi Fabiyi’s latest project ‘Metomi’. Metomi stars Toyin Aimakhu, Buki Ajayi, Saidi Balogun, Saidi Funky Mallam, Kemi Afolabi, Yomi Fabiyi, Tomiwa Sangonuga( Project Fame), Boy Alinco, Aishat Abimbola, Segun to mention a few.
Speaking further on the project, Fabiyi said, “From introduction, to the body of the story through to suspense and conflict, comic relief, then the resolution, you are promised to be entertained with one of d most outstanding, classic, emotional thrillers. Good story, lovely picture, sound and plotting.”

Synopsis
Anuoha(Toyin Aimakhu) is a Ghanaian girl schooled and had her NYSC in Nigeria. She finds love in Metomi(Yomi Fabiyi) on camp but a Gbemi(Kemi Afolabi) a trained psychologist and best friend to Anuoha wasn’t a party to their marriage. Things got worse for Metomi after service. Anuoha fled the home leaving behind his son and husband. Did they meet again? Metomi whose full pronunciation is Oluwametomi (God Knows What I deserve) is produced by: Yomi Fabiyi, Directed By: Taiwo Oduala & Yomi Fabiyi.

10 Commandments all Divos should keep

Most of us guys now refer to ourselves as Divos without knowing the ultimate 10 commandments that MUST qualify you to Divodom. However if you do not know the meaning of a DIVO, well be my guest.

DIVO- Originally a name for a Male performer (see Diva) and usually the opposite of a Diva, however a debonair’s definition of a DIVO is a male of noble sophistication and charisma. Until you follow these commandments, you’re not qualified to be called a Divo

The 10 Commandments are as follows:-

(1.) Thou shall not be Ugly and Dry-Chested

(2.) Thou shall not be broke as to not cater for thy basic bills e.g: flight tickets, wardrobe, car, mortgage etc

(3.) Thou shall possess a plethora of charisma to appeal to ladies and charm a room.

(4.) Thou shall always speak a great deal of good English without traces of your heritage.

(5.) Thou shall be known for something eg: a Footballer, Actor, Singer, Model etc.

(6.) Thou shall not update thy social network platforms with baseless and silly updates. E.g “Too Much Money”, “Club Zero tins” etc

(7.) Thou shall not take CHEAP SELFIES! , thy Selfies should be “cultured” e.g: In your car, in your hotel room, on the first class cabinet of an airplane or yatch.

(8.) Thou shall be a slave to designer wrist-watches, shoes, perfumes and suits.

(9.) Thou shall not be seen in places of lesser social standing.

(10.) Thou shall talk less and Listen more.

So fellas, just before you spread that Divo banner over your head, make sure you pass these basic steps, and trust me, It is better you are being referred to as one, than you claiming it.

Actress Sola Kosoko is now a mum. (Photos)

A month ago, I reported that the fair-skinned actress put to bed in Lagos, I apologise for the mixup, my source didn’t tell me it was her sister who gave birth. Now she has her bundle of joy. Two years after tying the knot, Sola Kosoko just delivered a bouncing baby girl in the US.

Congrats to the Kosokos.

Behold world's youngest groom! 9 year-old boy marries 62 year-old woman.(Photos)

Once again, wonders have no intention of ceasing. The funny thing about this is that the marriage was done in the presence of the woman’s 66 year-old husband. Not that the bride is a widow, her husband is very much alive and supports it. Saneie Masilela, a 9 year-old recently got married to a 62-year-old woman in South Africa. The ceremony was done last year, they made it official this year. Villagers in his town described it as sickening but the marriage was done in accordance with custom, on instruction of the groom’s dead ancestor and to avert a disaster on his family. The bride, Helen Shabangu – has 5 children who are aged between 28- and 38years old

The man’s husband said: “My kids and I are happy because we don’t have a problem with her marrying the boy – and I don’t care what other people say.”
The young groom: “I told my mother that I wanted to get married because I really did want to. I’m happy that I married Helen – but I will go to school and study hard. When I’m older I will marry a lady my own age. I chose Helen because I love her and, although we don’t live together all the time, we meet at the dumping site where my mother works regularly.”
The old bride: “I’m very happy that the boy chose me and my family support and understand that it is part of making ancestors happy. One day Sanele would grow normally and have family of his own and get married one day, all this ceremony is for making ancestors happy. We are playing.”
Groom’s 47-year-old mum: “Sanele was fine and he was happy about the ceremony last year and it what he wanted – he was not shy. He was just happy to get married, very excited and was not embarrassed about it. So much so he wanted to do it again. After the wedding last year people keep asking them question like will they live together, sleep together, have babies but I keep telling them that after the wedding everything went back to normal – nothing changed.


Sanele moved to Venda not long after the wedding because he wanted to learn a new language, but they are very close. Our families are very close. It was nice celebrate with a wedding once more, it was after all a calling from the ancestors. By doing this we made the ancestors happy. If we hadn’t done what my son had asked then something bad would have happened in the family.”

Gorgeous couple! Splendid decor! Breath-taking facade. These are photos from My Big Nigerian Wedding Season 1 winners; Yemisi Aiyedun and Yomi Odusanya’s traditional wedding ceremony. Yemisi & Yomi were the lucky winners of a N15 Million wedding in the My Big Nigerian Contest organised by WED Expo. 
The event took place at The Summit, Alausa, Ikeja yesterday. Their white wedding holds today at The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Gbagada and will be followed by a grand reception at The Haven Event Center, Ikej GRA. We can’t wait to see the full official pictures, but here are the first photos from the traditional wedding.

UEFA changes yellow card rule.

UEFA has made a new rule regarding yellow cards. it will now be harder for erring players to be suspended for the Champions League and Europa League finals. The European football’s governing body has decided to wipe out players’ bookings after the quarter-finals of club competitions.
UEFA said in a statement, “Following a recommendation by the UEFA Club Competitions Committee – in order to implement in UEFA club competitions a rule which is already in force in the UEFA European Football Championship – the Emergency Panel decided that, as of this season, all yellow cards from the beginning of the group stage will expire on completion of the quarter-finals. Bookings will therefore not be carried forward to the semi-finals.”

Watch Waje, Bez, Eva & Falz Fight Malaria in "NO MORE MALARIA" Anthem video





“Malaria No More” is a nonprofit organization that aims to end death caused by malaria in Africa by 2015. Malaria No More aims to achieve this by engaging global leaders, rallying the public, delivering life-saving tools and education to families across Africa. In April 2014, Malaria No More through the Federal Ministry of Health, National Malaria Elimination Programme and its partners launched the national malaria awareness campaign; ‘A Malaria-Free Nigeria: Play your part!’ with the objective of reducing malaria deaths by 50% by 2015 in Nigeria.
To date, celebrities that have supported the campaign by recording life saving malaria messages include; Femi Kuti, Stephen Keshi, Mikel Obi, Victor Moses, Vincent Enyeama, Chioma Akpotha to mention but a few. Part of the campaign has a malaria anthem with Bez, Waje, Eva and Falz lending their voices with educative malaria messages in a catchy and upbeat tune. The anthem was produced by Bez and IBK Spaceshipboi.
