Rapper, Vector writes open letter to former record label, YSG Entertainment.

Rapper, Vector Tha Viper and his record label, YSG Entertainment have put their turbulent relationship behind them. Recall that last year february, the label got a court injunction against him for breach of contract. The ‘Angeli ton pinre’ crooner and the label have however entered into a settlement to have the injunction lifted. Below is an open letter of apology to them.
Dear Fans and Media Reps:
Apology Letter to YSG Entertainment Limited.
I hope this meets you well. It is no secret that the last 12 months have been the most turbulent of my music career. With regards to the lingering issues about which I have been mute, I, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun popularly known to you as Vector Tha Viper, wish to state the following;
      YSG Entertainment Ltd without any doubt, gave me the platform to show case my talent to the world. It is true we had misunderstandings on issues concerning my engagement with them.
    There’s an existing Federal High Court injunction preventing me from doing what I love to do and this serves me and my fans no good. However, we have entered into a settlement to have the injunction lifted.
     That by reason of irreconcilable differences, my Record Contract Agreement with YSG Entertainment Ltd has been aborted.
That being said, in the spirit of good faith and a show of unreserved commitment to settle these issues amicably out of court, I have sought and obtained permission from the label to pay off the discounted recoupable expenses as contained in the Terms of Settlement in this regards.
I would also like to apologize to the management of YSG Entertainment Ltd for any embarrassment occasioned by my conduct and whatever damage it may have suffered as a result of the slander and libel as portrayed by the media in this regard. These issues were exaggerated by the media as I hold YSG Entertainment Ltd in high esteem. I also appreciate the leniency afforded me by discounting the recoupable expenses for me.
I wish the company well in all their endeavors.
Thank you.
Signed:
Olanrewaju David Ogunmefun.

20 babies are produced per day under the Mother and Child initiative of the first lady of the state. And the state has recorded safe deliveries of 7,600 pregnancies in just a year. (7,600? That’s a serious stat)

Ondo State governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko revealed this during a monthly vigil organized by his government for citizens of the state. He added that only 15 fatal cases had been recorded so far. ‘I would have been disappointed to see Luis Suarez go to Arsenal’- Steven Gerrard.

Steven Gerrard just made more enemies in Arsenal fans. The Liverpool captain reportedly told embattled Uruguayan striker, Luis Suarez that he was pleased with his decision to join Barcelona adding that an Arsenal move wouldn’t have been too good.

“His dream from the first day he came was to play for Real Madrid or Barcelona. Last summer when he was out in the cold and training on his own that’s the conversation I had with him. I said: ‘Don’t go to Arsenal. I would have been really sad and disappointed to see Luis go to Arsenal. With all due respect to them, I said to him that he was too good for Arsenal. I said if you score 30 goals for us and win the PFA player of the year, the press player of the year – I knew he was going to win them – I told him Real or Barcelona will come for you.”

He continued, “I’m disappointed to see him leave now but I am happy for him that’s he has got what he wants and deserves. Since day one he has been phenomenal in training every day and in the games. I think he got the wrong advice last year from people around him, from people saying he needed to play in the Champions League and it did not matter who it was for.

“I have experience of the Spanish clubs myself and I know if you play well they will come back and come back. I knew they’d be back for him as well. I just thought for his own sake, to get respect off the Liverpool fans, he had to give us at least one year. A lot of people might still think he should have given us one more, but my big dream was to play for Liverpool, and the foreign players’ big dream is to play for Real Madrid or Barcelona, that’s a fact.” He concluded.
