Photo: Who knew Governor Ayo Fayose has 5 grown-up sons?
Seen a lad as stylish as Obafemi Martins' son?
Ken Martins, son of Nigeria international and Seattle Sounders forward, Obafemi Martins isn’t yet 5 and he already has a knack for fashion- thanks to one of his parents or both. I like the first pic most, he poses nonchalantly, looks away from the camera and then puts on a sweet smile. Who knows? Little ken might just be working towards becoming one of Nigeria’s child-style icons.

10 things you'll find in a 'Wanna-be' Nigerian Girl& a Broke-Ass Nigga's wallet | By: Daniel Boyle
These are the items you’ll mostly see in a Wanna-be Nigerian Girl and Broke Ass Nigga’s wallets.
5 things you will find in a wanna-be girl’s bag
(1.) MaryKay foundation- this foundation could either be exhausted or about to be, she plans to keep it for a long time, for future bragging evidences.
(2.) Black Opal lipgloss- It doesn’t matter if it’s original or fake. It could also be a gift.
(3.) Replica Wallet- its mostly an ‘ebene’ Louis Vuitton, with the base slightly peeled(due to long years of service), that is where all the squeezed 50 naira notes are stuffed.
(4.) Diary or Notepad- This diary holds almost all the phone numbers of everyone she’s met in the last five years, especially those whose numbers begin with a “+”
(5.) Phone Charger- times are hard and not everyone gets electricity these days, so this item is always warming the bag, she’s one of the reasons why most sockets in restaurants/bars are occupied. Not everyone owns a generator set you know?
5 things you’ll find in a broke-ass nigga’s wallet
(1.) Complementary cards- now these cards constitute a greater part of the wallet’s weight, why they are so many? I await good responses from my ancestor.
(2.) One Dollar Notes- which aboki buys one dollar? So you now know who’s been hoarding the one dollar notes.
(3.) Last Five Thousand Naira- it is usually the ledger amount, this “last five thousand naira” has been cooling off in that wallet for months, they stay there as an accessory to complement the wallet each time it is being opened.
(4.) ATM Cards- Trust me, those cards are just beautifying the wallet. They carry no “substance”.
(5.) Pieces of papers- These are where the address descriptions and phone numbers of some rich uncles are.

Julius Agwu drops gubernatorial ambition
Frontline comedian, singer and actor Julius ‘D’Genius’ Agwu is no longer contesting for the post of a Rivers State Governor in 2015. He was reportedly urged by the incumbent Governor of the state, Rotimi Amaechi to drop his ambition because they want the position to rotate to another part of the state.
A statement from his manager, Prince Sunday Uwem reads thus:
“There was a meeting on Thursday, October 30 between Julius Agwu and his kinsmen from Ikwere, and it was agreed that he should step down from the governorship race because the current Governor Rotimi Amaechi is his friend and they are both from the same area.
They’ll want the position to rotate to another part of the state and Julius Agwu has decided to listen to his people and withdraw from contesting.”
Footballer gets 50-year ban
That’s an automatic farewell to his career. The 28 year-old went far but the verdict was farther if not the farthest. A swiss footballer, Ricardo Ferreira has been handed a 50 year ban for kicking the ball at a referee, spraying him with water and verbally abusing him at the end of a game. That means he would play again on June 5, 2064 at the age of 78.
The Berne’s Portugal Futebol Clube defender has been banned severally for misbehaving in and off pitch. He was once banned for 45 matches for assaulting opposition players and officials.
Reacting to the verdict, Ricardo told Blick magazine that, “I am known to the referees and the federation and I expected one or two years. But 50? Football is my life.”
