"No regrets about PUNCH advertisement." -Fayose

‎Incumbent Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose trended on social media today for a very wrong reason. ‎To all who didn’t get the gist, he posted this distasteful advert on the front page of the most widely read newspaper in Nigeria, PUNCH.

The controversial politician‎ has no regrets for putting up the publication. He told Ekiti Television (EKTV).

‎”I have no regrets on my @ThisIsBuhari advertisement, General Buhari can not live up to 75 years”

Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi may not be the best ever- Luis Figo

Former Barcelona and‎ Real Madrid player, Luis Figo in a recent promotional event debunked the notion that World best footballers, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are the best players ever. Well, his thoughts.

Unfortunately he didn’t spill the names of the players better than the two football greats but added that the duo make the difference than any other player.
He told reporters.
“I think this year, the Champions League will be won by either Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern or Chelsea. I think there’s almost a monopoly [in La Liga] between
the two strongest teams of all time in Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Messi and Cristiano are players who make the difference more so than anyone else. I’ve had the
pleasure of playing alongside great players, both as teammates and opponents, possibly better than Cristiano and Messi.”

Governor Ayo Fayose throws more shades at General Muhammadu Buhari

‎No one should really blame Ekiti Governor,Ayo Fayose for the first insult, the blames should be heaped on the prestigious media institution, PUNCH, who passed the “advert”, (deathwish actually) on and slammed it on their front page.
It’s a very big shame, they can throw their ethics into the air because of monetary gains. Only God knows how much was remitted to their coffers.

As for the second ‘shade’ at APC Presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, ‎I’m still wondering why Nigerians are taken aback, if he could spend so much on the front page of a newspaper, will he not do wonders on a free platform i.e social media. Plus, he is Ayo Fayose ….
