Syrian refugee kicked by journalist gets a coaching job in Spain.

//
Do we have people who still don’t believe in the power of social media? A Syrian refugee Osama Abdul Mohsen who was kicked by a hungarian camerawoman has been offered a coaching job in Spain. Mohsen was carrying his son, Zaid and trying to cross a border when Petra Laszlo tripped him and sent him tumbling to the ground near the Hungarian village of Roszke.
Petra has been fired from her job at the right-wing N1TV online channel after the footage sparked global outrage.
//
Media reports however revealed that Mohsen had been a football coach in Syria. A Spanish football  academy official who was on the same train with him offered him a coaching job at Getafe, the school will also help him apply for asylum in Spain.
He will put up in an apartment near the school’s training facility in the suburb of Getafe and then learn Spanish.

//

“The first thing is to get him settled. We’re giving him a hand as a humanitarian gesture. Later we’ll look for something. He’s interested in our school.” Miguel Pedraza, a former national level football referee revealed.

10 Reasons Why Nigerian Producers Are Losing Millions

Dear Mr. Music Producer,
I know you are a creative and very busy person and may not be interested in legal jargons, but I’m sure you are interested in making some more money.
Stated below are some reasons why the artistes you give your beats to are ripping you off.
1. You are not taking steps to ensure you get your share from ring tones and caller tunes when you could.
2. You are not taking steps to ensure you benefit maximally from international collaborations on songs which use your beats when you could.

//
3. You are busy trying to transform yourself into an artiste/singer/rapper when you
just don’t have what it takes.

4. You are not taking steps to maximize yield on each of your beats through multiple uses when you could.
5. You are not taking steps to ensure you get your fair share from well sponsored
public performance of songs using your beats when you could.

6. You are not taking steps to ensure you get your fair share from any advertising and endorsement related use of songs performed on your beats when you could.
7. You are not taking steps to ensure you make money from local and international music royalties when you could.

//

8. You are not taking steps to ensure you make money from local and international music publishing when you could.
9. You are not taking steps to organize yourself in a group to learn and insist on your rights.

10. You are not taking steps to organize your business within the legal framework which positions you to fully get what the law says is your own.
//
Now that you are fully aware of 10 (ten) different reasons why you’ve not been making the kind of money that you should be making you should also be aware that unless you have or develop the required boldness to insist on your legal rights and organize your business within the required legal framework nothing will change!
Thank you.

Di Maria on why he left Manchester United, "Life in England was difficult."

Former Manchester United winger, Angel Di Maria has revealed some of the reasons he left the English club barely after a year he joined from Real Madrid for £59.7million. The ex Benfica player who switched to PSG in the summer claimed that his unsettled family was the main reason he moved to France.
He was quoted by the Mirror UK thus:

“Honestly, we were not happy. At the beginning, we were a little. But then things became complicated. Life in England was a bit difficult. It is not easy for a South American. Some people get on fine, and for others it is harder to adapt.”‎

He also stressed that his strained relationship with Van Gaal and the burglary incident in his house prompted his decision to leave.

“I didn’t have a great relationship with the coach, so I think the decision to join Paris was the best solution. After the break-in it wasn’t reasonable to stay. My family wasn’t happy. My daughter was suffering. So it was important to leave. From the little I have seen, our life here in France resembles more the life we led in Spain or Portugal. And at the moment we are 100 percent satisfied.”

Short Story: There's Hope | By: Sueddie Agema

She looked at him on the bed.
* * * * *
‘Thrown out of the house. Yea, just like that.
Another bottle of beer, please. Thanks.
I know you are a stranger: your bag is more than evidence. Listen still. She gave me just enough transport to go back to the village. To all that poverty, to a hopelessness. C’mon!! Please, waiter, bring another bottle for my friend here.
What? You shake your head. You don’t want a drink? Then, by all means, take some meal or whatever you want, please. There’s little or nothing to life than a celebration of now. Tomorrow is a parcelled box that might turn out a gift or bomb!! Hee hee hee!!
Well, don’t fidget like that. If you would take nothing, at least keep this little gift.
My phone is ringing. Excuse me, please. Oh, it is my sister.
Hello…Yes…You threw me out, why do you want to know?…Well, not as if you care but I am in the Sewuese Bush Bar…Yeah?…But seriously, can I come back and leave tomorrow? You know it’s late… Okay, don’t worry! I wouldn’t come back again or beg you for money!…Hmmm… Bye!
That was her.  Hmm. My friend, I would be fine. I would go home. I only find it sad that I wouldn’t be able to take anything to my fiancée and all those my little cousins. While I was away, they might have been content and kept hoping. You know, the little children used to call me Daddy. Daddy, when you come back, we would get books to write in school. We would get uniform and stop wearing this tear-tear.Hmm… Friend, there is hope. There is hope.
//
Thanks for listening to me, even silently. Sometimes, we need this. I would go to the village, there might be no farms in a land desecrated by oil spillage or no fish in waters flowing with chemical slime. Still, there is hope and I would cultivate that hope. Indeed, many times, a glorious surplus has germinated from hope’s harvest.
Wipe your eyes friend. They are red. Concern for me? Don’t worry. Don’t worry, I will be fine. Take care. Remember hope! Life’s essence is a continuous reliance on hope. It only ends at the final darkness.
Hey, why do you run so fast…?’

NEWS FLASH: There has been a bomb explosion at the Sewuese Bush market of the Gbatuma Cantonment. So far, casualties stand at three dead and seven injured. The bodies have been deposited at Mfe Hospital with the injured receiving treatment in the same hospital.

She shivered!

* * * * *
//
The bodies were charred beyond recognition. She recognised the medallion in what remained of the clenched fist. He had promised to never let it go. He kept his word. An intense feeling of guilt rushed from within streaming slowly out of her eyes. She looked on but saw nothing. She held the charred fingers wondering at the black figure that lay in front of her:
‘If only…’
Someone came and dragged her away. She struggled but after a while allowed herself to be taken away, the medallion in her hands. She thought to herself: So, I forsake him once more, even in death. Why? Why? Why?

* * * * *
She wondered who was calling:
Sniff Sniff ‘Yes? … Speaking … What is it?!! … Yes, I am there … You want me to come and take my brother’s dead body? … Hmm? … Yes, I am the woman in the red dress? What?…’
* * * * *
She looked at him on the bed.
//
She rushed and hugged him. He smarted at the pain of her bear hug. She understood and moved back to look at him. She was too stunned to say a word. He was in obvious pains. She smiled at her younger brother. It didn’t matter that he was a University drop-out any more or that he only wanted to become an artist or was it poet she said. That was something she strongly disagreed with. It didn’t matter that he was badly burned. She had never been happier to see him. Little mattered; her only sibling was alive. That was all that mattered.
‘I gave…the medallion…to…to…shortly before the…take off…and ex…ex…ex…’
‘Don’t worry, don’t talk.’
She walked to the bed and kissed him on the forehead:
‘Rest, brother. There is hope.’

Teen arrested for bringing a clock to school gets invitation from Obama

Photo published for We were right to arrest and handcuff boy over homemade clock, officials say
On Monday, a teenage boy, Ahmed Mohamed, a student of the MacArthur High School was handcuffed and arrested by school officials for bringing a clock believed to be a “hoax bomb” to school.
//
A follow up investigation however revealed that the device was a homemade experiment and he had no intention to create alarm. The issue has been trending for the past few days with many adopting the hashtag #IStandWithAhmed showing solidarity to the 14 year-old boy whose ingenuity was not praised.
Ahmed’s father, Mohamed Elhassan Mohamed who has lived in America for 30 years was unhappy about his son’s humiliation. In a press conference yesterday, he said he is proud of his son.
“He fixed my phone, my car, my computer. He is a very smart, brilliant kid. What is happening is touching the heart of everyone with children. And that is America. It made me really happy to see all these people support me. I’m thinking about transferring from MacArthur to any other school.”
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg as well as the President of the United States, Barack Obama have however extended an open initiation to the brilliant lad.
//
“Having the skill and ambition to build something cool should lead to applause, not arrest. The future belongs to people like Ahmed.”  Zuckerberg wrote
Obama added. “Cool clock, Ahmed. Want to bring it to the White House? We should inspire more kids like you to like science. It’s what America great.”
