AKIN LEWIS TO CELEBRATE 4 DECADES IN THE NIGERIAN FILM INDUSTRY

I'm one of those who have expressed shock at this news. Seriously, Akin Lewis has spent that long in the Nigerian movie industry? Wonderful. The veteran actor and director will be celebrating his 40 years in the motion picture industry in a grand style.

He'll be staging an event themed 'Akintola Akin-Lewis 40 Years As A Professional On Stage, Radio, Tv & Film And Launching' on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at the Amador Suites, Ajah, Lagos. The event will also feature a documentary on the prominent actor tagged "who be dis Akin Lewis sef???"

One of the films that shot him into limelight is Tade Ogidan's Madam Dearest. Other soap operas and home videos he's starred in include Were Alaso, Red Hot, Apere, Silver Lining,The Gods Are Still Not To Blame, Spider, Tinsel, The Benjamins, Footprints, Two Sides of a Coin to mention a few.
