Fuji music maestro, Adewale Ayuba has disclosed plans to open a music museum at the University of Lagos. The alumnus of the institution made the revelation during a courtesy visit to the university on Monday. He said the gesture was his own way of giving back to his alma mater.
Chairman, Unilag Alumni, Lagos branch, Dr. Lukumon Adeoti, stated that there was the need for alumni to develop the university so that it could be ranked with top-notch international universities. He also added that it had been engaging members to invest in the academic and infrastructural development of the school.
Prof. Rahmon Bello, the Vice Chancellor of the university while commending Ayuba for the donation, said the music museum would be utilized for the benefits of lecturers, students and other visiting scholars to the university.
