Ghanaian Actress Jackie Appiah and a few others will appear before Presidential Commission of Inquiry into 2014 World Cup to answer queries related to Ghana’s lacklustre performance at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Recall that the thespian was one of Ghana’s World Cup ambassadors who were paid over $20,000 each on an all-expenses paid trip to Brazil in June to brand the country as well as mobilise cheerleaders/supporters of the Black Stars at the Tournament.
A statement by spokesperson of the Commission, Thomas Boakye Agyemang reads. “The presidential commission of inquiry into Brazil 2014 resumes sitting tomorrow Monday 10.00 am at the Accra Sports Stadium. Expected to appear include Fred Crentsil, Augustine Ahinful, CK Akunnor, Litina Travel and Tours and actress Jackie Appiah.”
