Joke Silva, a Nollywood veteran and Aize Obayan, Covenant University Vice Chancellor are among top women to speak at the second edition of 'The Great Women' post-independence lecture slated for October 29, 2011. The lecture which will be held at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce&Industry (LCCI) Alausa will also honour women from all spheres.

Women leadership and capacity building revealed that to move Nigeria forward, women ought to be allowed to exercise their God-given ability. The aim of the lecture however is to enable guests speakers who are great achievers in their disciplines to motivate and enable their fellow women to excel in their various fields irrespective of the gross misconduct of some men in power.
