Iker Casillas now the most capped European player of all time.

Casillas earned his 166th international cap in Spain’s goalless draw against Romania on Sunday, tying Latvian midfielder Vitālijs Astafjevs. The former Real Madrid skipper has also equalled the record for most international caps by a European player.

Casillas’ 16-year career span for his  country saw him winning the World Cup in South Africa in 2010. The goalkeeper did not only concede a goal in 710 minutes for Spain he also made a couple of wonderful saves to keep the clean sheet.
