After his dimunitive but well-interpreted role of an hotel attendant in a yoruba movie titled 'Oluwajomiloju', prominent singer, Abolore Akande popularly called 9ice has accepted to take up another script.
The Gongo Aso crooner would be playing the lead role in a movie titled Jejere. Speaking to NET about his experience on set, "I had to act, cry when nothing was actually wrong with me, laugh when nothing was really funny. I also had to depict this character in the presence of others. It is a privilege to be part of 'Jejere' and I look forward to the premiere". he said.
Would he like to take on acting as a new career, "if the pay is right with good content and the standard is on point, why not", was his reply.
Produced by actress Laide Bakare and featuring Fathia Balogun, Akin Lewis, Ebun Oloyede, Emeka Ike to mention a few, the film centres on corruption, unemployment, robbery and kidnapping etc and the way forward.
