From reality show, clothing line, eyewear and now to a make-up line. The Kardashians no doubt are doing well for themselves (even though I don't know how much all those are raking in). But there's a small snag in their latest venture- Kroma make-up.
A man named Michael Rey, the co-owner of a certain Chroma Makeup in Beverly Hills is mad at them and he isn't mincing his words. Their offence? The reality show stars are infringing on his trade name; Chroma. Even though the first letters of the controversial name are not the same.
According to him, it took 12 years to build his business and get an A-list clientele, he isn't going to watch the Kardashians cheapen his products, cause confusion in the marketplace and probably soil all he's laboured for. Whew!
Although he's not yet queried the Khardashians, he's fully prepared to take legal actions against them if they don't change the name. He's already writing letters to his customers that Chroma is not associated with the Khardashian's "low-budget cosmetic products".
