Cameroon midfielder, Alex Song has been handed a 3-match ban for three games for elbowing Croatia striker Mario Mandzukic in the back during a 4-0 loss last Wednesday. The Barcelona player who was sent off in the 40th minute when Croatia led 1-0 has also been fined 20,000 Swiss francs ($22,300) by FIFA’s disciplinary committee.

He’s automatically suspended for Cameroon’s clash with Brazil today, he is expected to complete his ban in Cameroon’s next two official matches.
