Nigeria football coaches want Emmanuel Babayaro to apologise over his recent comment

Nigerian football coaches have asked ex Nigerian goalkeeper, Emmanuel Babayaro to tender an apology over his recent comment that no Nigerian coach is competent enough to handle the Super Eagles and other teams. Speaking though their National Public Relations Officer, Etta Egbe, they deemed the comment derogatory and unacceptable adding that if Nigerian coaches were incapable some of them would not have been made CAF and FIFA instructors.
“Our association demands an unreserved apology from this uninformed ex-player. Our indigenous coaches’ records are yet to be equalled or surpassed by any foreign coach in the past. The era of foreign coaches in Nigeria is over, and there is no reason for Babayaro “to drag us back”.
