Microsoft today unveiled it’s first Windows smart wristband called the Microsoft Band. The Microsoft Band is compatible with Windows Phone, Android and iOs devices and it isn’t for ‘pleasure’ purposes.
It focuses chiefly on the health and fitness of the wearer. It works with the ‘Microsoft Health’ app to gather data on heart rate, steps taken, routes taken during exercises, calories burned and many more.
Another interesting feature is that you can bark instructions at it. It can survive for up to two days on a single charge, has notification support for email messages, calendar reminders, phone calls received, text messages, Twitter and Facebook notifications, weather, to mention a few.
