The announcement was made on Monday by Assistant Health Minister and head of Liberia’s incident management system, Tolbert Nyensuwah. Prior to this, only 2 cases were left.
The report is coming as parents and students prepare for the re-opening of schools. Nyensuwah
believes the new cases were spread by some infected people refusing to seek treatment.
He also wants government would to create a law that would prosecute and punish anyone caught spreading the virus through negligence.
