Rahma Hussaini, an 18-year-old woman has allegedly stabbed her husband , 24 year old Tijjani Basiru ‎ to death five days after their wedding. Their wedding took place last Friday.

The incident happened around 10am yesterday at Darmunawa quarters in Kano‎. One of the neighbours who heard  the man scream rushed to the scene and saw him in a pool of blood.

 “From what we heard the union was a product of forced marriage. The man sounded like someone in need of rescue and we rushed to discovered that the man of the house was in his pool of his blood,” he said.

Bashiru was rushed to the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital but he was confirmed dead on arrival. Hussaini has since been arrested by the police.
