The former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs Elder Godsday Orubebe has denied a tweet from his twitter handle @ElderGOrubebe claiming he has concluded plans to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The former minister in another tweet denied the tale, claiming his account was hacked.
He said, “It is not true that I am leaving the PDP for APC; it is not true and it cannot be true. I am taking online media, who have published the story to court. I am a core PDP member. I am with my oga (Goodluck Jonathan) and we are planning to reorganise the PDP to make it a party of unification.”
The earlier controversial tweet from his handle reads.
“I have concluded plans to join my folks in the APC to champion and sustain the movement for a better Niger Delta in the new administration. Details will be released soon. Thank you all.”
