Oliseh on why he dropped Mikel, "He has been snubbing me".

Remember the ex Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi complained about this same issue about 3/4 months ago. Is it that Mikel Obi doesn’t want to have anything to do with the national team anymore? Even if he doesn’t, there are procedures involved in hanging one’s boot for the country.
The newly appointed Super Eagles manager, Sunday Oliseh has complained of being snubbed by the Chelsea midfielder. According to the ex Nigerian player, Mikel was not included in the 18-man squad of foreign-based players invited for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania in Der es Salaam on September 5 because he has remained incommunicado.

“I have not spoken to Mikel up till now. I have contacted him on several occasions with no reply. I sent him an sms, no reply. I went to London, he plays in same club with Victor Moses, Victor came to the meeting, we spoke, he did not.

“Every player we have invited, we have spoken to. No player is special, every player is the same. We will not win games with just one player, but with 11 players.”
Oliseh explained.
