Three games to keep an eye on this weekend

1. Arsenal Vs Newcastle: It’d be interesting to see how Wenger will respond to criticism from pundits and sport journos today as he lead his side to the St James Park.
Arsenal have only managed a win from three games after losing at home to West Ham in the opening game and playing a barren draw with Liverpool last week. The team’s defence has been rocked with the absence of first choice center backs; Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny.
Newcastle on the other hand will be hoping they get their first win of the season on home ground against a familiar foe.
History and statistics favor Arsenal and fans of the club will be hoping the turn-around they seek starts today with probably a big win and better play. Expect premium entertainment and intense battle between Arsenal’s strike force and Newcastle’s resilient defence led and coordinated by Collocinni who contributed greatly to Manchester United’s inability to get a goal last week.
2. Bayern Munich Vs Bayern Leverkusen: Bayern Munich got an early scare last week after going from a goal down to win 2-1 against Hoffenheim with 10men. Although alot of people rightly consider them as favorites to win the league, events are however showing that they won’t be strolling to the trophy. The likes of Dortmund, Wolfsburg and Bayern Leverkusen are picking full points and scoring freely – which is why this tie is one to definitely watch.
Bayern Leverkusen have won two in two and will hope to show flickers of their readiness to give Bayern a good fight and challenge for the Bundesliga.
Pep Guardiola’s will also have to show intent and prove their mettle against this side as a good start in the Bundesliga can not be over-emphasized.

3. Roma Vs Juventus: This is arguably the biggest tie of the weekend as it is a game between the two best teams in Italy as far as the past few years is concerned. Juventus will be travelling to the Stadio Olimpico on the heels of a shocking first game defeat to Udinese and will hope to prove to followers across the world that the club has adequately gotten over the loss of key players like Carlos Tevez, Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal.
Roma on the other hand will also seek to get their first win of the season after playing out a 1-1 draw with Hellas Verona last week. Roma gave Juventus a run for their money last season but lost momentum in January, thereby, enabling Juventus win the Serie-A comfortably.
They hope to correct that this season by making credible additions like Woljiech Szcesny and Edin Dzeko. The result of this tie will be very consequential and will give huge indications of what to expect in the new campaign. It is definitely a must watch
