Spanish FA President & son arrested on corruption charges.

Spanish FA president, Ángel María Villar Llona, his son and three others have been arrested on corruption charges as part of an investigation into the finances of the federations.

Villar Llona, who is also a senior vice-president at FIFA and UEFA, were detained while the federation headquarters in Madrid were raided.
Speaking after the arrest, Spain’s sport minister, Inigo Mendez de Vigo, said “In Spain the laws are enforced, the laws are the same for all, and nobody, nobody is above the law.”

UEFA said in a statement it is aware of the reports regarding Mr. Villar Llona and they have “no comment to make at this time.”
