Cristiano Ronaldo’s new film, ‘Ronaldo’ is had its premiere in London today. The Real Madrid record breaker opened up on his rival, Lionel Messi, family life and many others in the documentary.
Speaking at a press conference in London tonight, Ronaldo said former Manchester United coach, Alex Ferguson played a big role in his move to Old Trafford.
“When Sir Alex Ferguson says, ‘Cristiano, I want you to come to Manchester United, you’re going to play 50 percent of the games,’ it made me feel comfortable and I said, ‘Wow.’ “Because 18 years old, to play 50 percent of the games, for me it’s unbelievable.
“I took that decision because Jorge helped me to take that decision and of course the last word of Sir Alex Ferguson was the key to sign for Manchester United.”
“As I say many times, with Manchester United I have a great passion. I say that every time. What Jorge did to me, with 18 years old, to put me in one of the best clubs in the world, with the words of Sir Alex Ferguson, I never dreamt (it was possible).”
The 29 year-old winger informed his fans on social media about the launch of the movie.
“Today is the day. I’m here in London and my film Ronaldo will be revealed to the world tonight! ronaldofilm. If you’re in London come down to Leicester Square at 5pm this evening and say Hi! “ the Portuguese wrote on his facebook page few hours ago
